20 April 2026 by midnight    Registration deadline
21 April 2026 by 5pm           New postal vote application deadline
21 April 2026 by 5pm           Amendments/cancellations to existing postal/proxy arrangements  
28 April 2026 by 5pm           New proxy vote application deadline.

Completed application forms can be returned:

  • or by email, as a photo or a scanned attachment to postalvote@lanarkshire-vjb.gov.uk

 The online postal voting digital service at Gov.uk is not available for Scottish elections.

Please note that Voter ID is not required at a Scottish Parliamentary election.
